Painter Lewis Achenbach Joins Delmark Day & Masterclass at The Venue

Aurora, IL — The Fox Valley Music Foundation is thrilled to announce that ‘Jazz Painter’ Lewis Achenbach will join the Delmark Day & Masterclass Series on Friday, November 8, at The Venue in downtown Aurora.

Since 2012, Achenbach has been capturing the rhythm, motion, and energy of live performance through his unique Jazz Occurrence discipline — a fusion of art and music that transforms sound into visual expression. His live painting sessions have been featured internationally and throughout Chicago’s vibrant jazz scene.

During the event, Achenbach will be working live from the back of the room, translating the music into color and form while adding a pop-up art exhibition featuring a selection of his expressive canvases. His presence brings a new artistic dimension to this immersive day of blues, education, and creative collaboration.
