IAC supports our efforts to bring affordable, high-quality live music to the community.

The Fox Valley Music Foundation (FVMF) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency (IACA) to support the operation of The Venue throughout 2025. This critical funding helps ensure that The Venue—Aurora’s nonprofit, mission-driven listening room—can continue bringing affordable, high-quality live music to the community.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, FVMF operates The Venue not simply as a performance space, but as a cultural hub committed to preserving, protecting, promoting, and educating through music. Support from the Illinois Arts Council strengthens this mission by helping offset operational costs, expand programming, and directly supports the FVMF’s belief that music should be available, approachable, and affordable for everyone.
The funding will help The Venue sustain its diverse calendar of performances, educational programs, and collaborations with regional musicians and partners—ensuring that live music remains a vibrant, unifying force in downtown Aurora.
